Renovation & Addition: Riverside, IL

The existing English Cottage style home was quaint, but modest with two bedrooms occupying two different floors, and a single, detatched garage. Circo Architects, Inc. added an additional 1,300 s.f. to the home, including a new Family Room, Mud Room and attached 2-car Garage on the first floor, and 3 additional Bedrooms, and a new Bathroom on the second floor. A new staircase as part of the design, connects the existing second floor with the new addition. The dominant elevation of the home utilized reclaimed brick from the demolished garage for a seamless blend of exterior materials.
